How We’re Helping
At Waterfront Community Church we practice a unique financial model by giving away 100% of our offerings every week. Here are some of the people we have tried to love well through these offerings:
- We helped a young couple tackle enormous medical expenses after a two-month bout in ICU with encephalitis.
- We helped a struggling woman in our area with a mortgage payment and HOA fees.
- We helped a single mom get back on her feet after her home burned down.
- We raised over $8,000 to help a church in the Philippines purchase property where they serve the poor in their community.
- For Christmas, we gave $80 gift cards to 17 single mothers in our area.
