FAQ

Welcome, we’re glad you’re here!

Thank you so much for showing interest in our church. Feel free to make your way around this website to check out our ministries and what we’re doing in the community.

Where and When?

The first thing you need to know is that we’re located 695 Illinois Boulevard • Hoffman Estates, Illinois (or click here for directions). Our services are Sunday mornings at 9:00.

What to Expect

Don’t worry. It’s pretty simple. When you pull into the parking lot you’ll find parking lot attendants and plenty of signs directing you to the front door of the facility. Once you walk through the double doors, you simply go to the auditorium on the right.  We’ll have plenty of signs and greeters to help you get where you need to be.

What should I wear?

Believe it or not, many people ask that question, and we understand how awkward it can be when you walk into a place either overdressed or underdressed.  To answer your question, you probably won’t find anyone wearing a suit at Waterfront, and for the most part, people dress pretty casual. There really is no rule of thumb. Some guys wear khakis and polo shirts, others wear shorts and t-shirts. Ladies wear jeans, pants, skirts or dresses. The most important thing is that we look forward to seeing you, not what you’re wearing.

What should I bring?

Most people don’t make a point to bring anything with them to the service. You are welcome to bring a Bible if you’d like, but you won’t feel out of place if you don’t.

What about my children?

We have an excellent children’s ministry at Waterfront that begins at approximately 9:20 AM. When you first come to Waterfront, all adults and kids meet together in the auditorium to worship together for the first 15-20 minutes of service. We think it’s important that kids and parents have a chance to participate in worship as a family. After that time, parents will have an opportunity to check their children in with our children’s ministry leaders. They will give you a badge corresponding to your child and help answer whatever questions you may have to ensure that your child is safe. When the adults return to the auditorium to continue with worship and the message, your children will be receiving a Bible-based lesson on topic designed for their age. Make sure you ask your children about what they experienced on the ride home! For more info on Kids Cove contact John at john@waterfrontcc.com.
