Hello, my name is Jim Semradek, and my passion is to help form strong friendships, marriages, and families.  Jesus words to “Love God and People Well” (Matthew 22:36-40) have inspired this passion, and these words are also the mission of our church.

As for my educational background: I was ordained after receiving my undergraduate in Pastoral Studies (Moody Bible Institute).  I then earned two master’s degrees in Biblical studies and counseling (Reformed Theological Seminary and Asbury Seminary).  I returned to school to receive a Doctorate (Fuller Seminary) with a thesis “How to Love God and People Well in the 21^st Century.”

Last, and most important, is my family. I can’t believe my wife has had the patience to stick with me for 20 years!  I also feel blessed to be the father of four children, who keep me both young and proud.  After God, my family is the most fulfilling quest in my life.  If I was new to a church, the #1 thing I would assess is the health of the pastor’s family (I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1).
