God has blessed each and every one of us with unique spiritual gifts. One way to praise God is to put those gifts to use to see what God can do through you. Waterfront offers various ways to exercise your gifts.

Here are a few to consider:

Invite

Take the opportunity to make a change in someone’s life and invite a friend to church this weekend. Sometimes all anyone needs is an invitation. We all have those who are a little harder to get going, so use our social events to open the door to a Saturday invitation. Check out Events/Announcements/News on our homepage for upcoming events at Waterfront.

Small Groups

Teams to consider:

  • Kids Cove Teacher
Have a love for the Lord and the desire to inspire that in our children?  Kids Cove teachers present the message of God’s love using a defined curriculum.  Teachers rotate assignments based on 4 week calendar of classes throughout the calendar year.
  • Kids Cove Assistant
If you’re not quite ready to take on the teaching role, consider becoming an assistant.  You will assist the children with crafts, activities and other duties in the classroom.  The assistants follow the same scheduling as teachers.
  • Kids Cove Lifeguard
Lifeguards are an important part of our Kids Cove Team.  They handle the sign-in of the students, provide assistance to teachers, take attendance, and cast a watchful eye over the proceedings to maintain safety and order.
  • Connect Leader
The Connect Leader works with pre-teens/teens in a small group gathering.  They assist the Connect leader in worship and teaching.
  • Crossroads Leader
Crossroads is a mission to bring God’s word to children in the public school system.  Meetings are held on Wednesdays after school hours at the school facility.  Leaders work with the students on lessons and activities.
  • Worship Team
Do you play a musical instrument or have a strong singing voice?  Consider joining our Worship Team.
  • Technical Team
The Tech Team is responsible for the Sound, Lighting, Background Slides, and Live-streaming each service.  The Team rotates responsibilities based on the number of available volunteers.
  • Hospitality Team
If you have the talent to make people feel welcome and comfortable, the Hospitality Team is for you.  The Team is responsible for the array of coffee, tea, and treats available each service as well as greeting members as they enter.
  • Cleanup Team
Help keep the facility clean and shiny by being a part of the Cleanup Team.  This Team leads the corporate cleanup after each Saturday service.
  • Maintenance Team
Help prepare and maintain the facility with repairs and service setup as needed with the Maintenance Team.  All that's needed is a strong back and a willingess to get your hands dirty!
